Rule reminder, the person who racks the balls is also the referee for that game.
As such they are obligated to stay and watch the game in case there should be need for a ruling.
There have been some grumblings about inattentive refs, so we thought a reminder was in order.

The league officers have heard several comments/complaints regarding the use of “safes” (as in APA or BCA rules)
Our guidance is that a player should make a legitimate attempt at a shot which includes striking his/her own ball first.
